Words Together, Worlds Apart

Words Together Worlds apart is a virtual reading series born out of pandemic, but meant to outlast it. Held bi-weekly, WTWA will help us maintain and build literary community across distance and time zone through our shared love of words.

We have implemented a number of security measures, so this event WILL require registration:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

This reading will be on the theme of JOY, something we could all use a bit more of. Featured readers include Victoria Chang, Kai Coggin, W. Todd Kaneko, Keith Leonard, and J. David Ockunzzi. Kelly Grace Thomas with host with Julia Kolchinsky Dasbach as co-host. The reading will be followed by an interactive discussion as well as a translation-themed writing prompt.

Let's find solace in each other's words together, even as we stay worlds apart.

Please purchase books by the authors! There is a suggested $5 donation to support the reading series and its readers, which can be paid via Venmo @ Julia-Dasbach or PayPal: jkolch@gmail.com. Contributions are always welcome but never required.

We regret that we are unable to caption the full event, a PDF of the poems will be available and the discussion will be transcribed.
