Join award-winning poet, Kelly Grace Thomas, for a generative workshop focused on craft and catharsis, where we explore how a poem can set an idea (language, belief, form) ablaze and why it must. In this workshop, we will read and discuss works of contemporary poets such as Patricia Smith, Sam Sax, and José Olivarez to generate innovative, experiment, and play with language.
